The team of experts

Textilberatung Hamburg works with freelance and independent experts in different fields on specific projects. Their activities are coordinated by the proprietor of Textilberatung Hamburg, Dipl.-Ing. Sabine Anton-Katzenbach. All of our partners are legally autonomous. They do not constitute a corporate entity with it under German civil law either jointly or individually.

Dipl.-Ing. Sabine Anton-Katzenbach
Consultant, freelance journalist and proprietor
of Textilberatung Hamburg
With a degree in textile finishing engineering, Sabine Anton-Katzenbach held management positions in textile production in Germany and in other countries and in textile service over a period of many years. For more than fifteen years now, she has been advising companies along the entire textile value chain as well as suppliers of input materials on matters pertaining to processes, products and industry. An accredited journalist, she also works on developing internal and external communications strategies for public relations, corporate publishing and sustainability reporting.  
She has been a lecturer on innovative textiles at the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics in Berlin since 2012.

Dipl.-Ing. Margit Peters
Consultant and Coach
Margit Peters has a degree in Clothing Engineering and a Master in Textiles and Consumer Sciences. She has many years of professional experience as a project manager and executive in the textile rental services and international mail order. She knows how to develop and design new business processes within the framework of international cooperation and trading. She specializes in providing expert advice on trade and textile companies in the areas of purchasing, supply chain, quality assurance, corporate responsibility, product development, sales and e-commerce.

Designer Franziska Beckmann-Andersen
Fashion designer, cut manager and dress maker
A freelance fashion designer, Franziska Beckmann-Andersen has been producing illustrations of production-ready items and entire collections for the fashion and professional clothing industry for over two decades. She specialises in preparing and producing designs, mood boards, trend and colour concepts as well as technical drafts with detailed production instructions. She is also involved in quality development and fit-checking for ladies and menswear.

Sabine Faust
Photographer and graphic designer
A trained photographer and graphic designer, Sabine Faust specialises in visual communications solutions aimed at giving companies, products and brands a unique look. For more than two decades, she has been developing bespoke concepts, key visuals and image worlds for general-audience and customer magazines, image brochures, catalogues and annual reports. She utilises photographic and graphic tools to create posters, advertisements and displays which set the stage for products and companies.

Kerstin Effring
Consultant and project manager
With a Master of Business Administration degree, she specializes in consulting authorities and industrial companies on the development and market introduction of corporate clothing. As an independent outsourcing partner, she serves as the interface between clients and garment suppliers. Additionally, she has extensive experience in dealing with public tenders. Her previous roles as a key account and product manager with industry-leading textile companies, have provided her with specialist expertise and in-depth knowledge of functional fabrics for sports and workwear apparel.
